Dear Colleague

On behalf of the Officers and the Council of the International Academy of Oral Oncology, we are delighted to invite you to beautiful Toronto, July 8-11, 2009 for the 2nd World Congress of our Academy.

During the course of the past 3 years, the Academy has made significant strides with growing membership, drawing specialists from all parts of the world interested in the field of oral cancer. The First World Congress in May 2007 in Amsterdam was a great success and we intend to make the Second Congress an even greater scientific event.

For this endeavor our Program Chairman Professor Patrick Gullane, assisted by an outstanding scientific program committee are constructing a comprehensive scientific program. This program is expected to be educational, informative, and interesting. The scientific sessions will consist of keynote addresses by world experts, panel discussions, debates on controversial issues and proffered papers selected from submitted abstracts. Several national and international supportive organizations will deliver sponsored symposia in various aspects of oral / head and neck surgery and oncology. Recognizing the important role that supportive care has to offer to the oral cancer patient, a half-day seminar will be devoted to this subject at the end of the Congress. A rich and interesting social program will supplement an outstanding scientific program, making this an event you will not want to miss.

The city of Toronto, the largest city in Canada, is renowned for its hospitality and safety.
